Auburn Post 1741 extends a hand to veterans at Green River Community College
Bill Peloza and Auburn's VFW Post 1741 are helping veterans by sponsoring a scholarship for veterans.

Homes for Our Heroes
To help fight against homelessness, the Making A Difference Foundation - Seattle has launched a "Homes For Heroes" program. This program provides safe, secure, and stable housing for homeless veterans and their families.
Voice of Democracy
On Saturday, Dec 3, 2011 at a VFW District #11 Awards Essay Ceremony, Auburn Riverside H.S., 12th grade student Imani Clark was awarded 3rd Place in the Voice of Democracy Essay competition.
